Collecting land race cannabis seed genetics has kept Malberry on an adventure throughout Africa and Asia the best part of 40 years. Throughout his lifetime, cross referencing the history of cannabis phenotypes and finding their true origin has been the vision of Malcolm Berry. Our mission continues, armed with modern DNA analysis and Malcolm’s legacy. Our quest is pretty much the same as Malcolm’s dream …a determination to bring back the original form of all parent cannabis strains.
To find the Holy Grail in cannabis genetics, one has to turn back the clock thousands of years to get even close to finding the nearest thing to an original cannabis strain! Through the millennia there has been so much cross breeding and variants of millions of cross bred marijuana strains .It is therefore important that it much time dedication is required to dismantle the complicated variants of cannabis and achieve our vision ….. Imagine for one moment ... you have several different colors of play dough now mix them all together … now try removing all the different colors from your mixed ball of play dough … well if you can understand that, then you know exactly where we are coming from ! Getting back to the origins of cannabis is a daunting task. We have achieved some success with pure strains but so much more work is required. We can ,however, proudly say… our marijuana regular seeds is the closest thing to original Sativa cannabis seed strains you going to find anywhere in the world.
